Modern Cleaners is the largest drycleaning facility in the Skagit Valley. We were estabilished in 1947 and purchased by the Pickett family in 1989. We have grown and changed throughout the years, but the one thing that has never changed is our focus on quality. 

During the 1990's we expanded the business by focusing on pick-up and delivery service, first by offering the service just in Mount Vernon, Laconner and Burlington, but later expanding to Anacortes. With the existence of the route service we are able to serve our customers whom would otherwise not be able to make the drive weekly to utilize our services.

The company expanded in 2007 by purchasing a competitor, Moonen Cleaners. With the aquisition of Moonen Cleaners our team was able to add an additional location to serve our expanding customer base.
